Shoof Elajab ridden by Daragh O'Donohoe piped the Ahmed al Shamsi trained Jahfal to the post by a shoulder in the Al Hosn Maiden Race for four- and five-year-old Arabian purebreds.
Elmalak Elwaheed ran away with the fifth race of the night under Richard Mullen, winning the Yas Island Handicap for four-year-olds by nearly five lengths to the Lemartinel trained Wadya.
